Hi, I'm Mark, and thanks for visiting.

I grew up in northern Illinois and have a Bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in Indiana and a Master’s degree in Transportation Management from SUNY Maritime College.

I have nearly 20 years experience in various sales/trading, business development, and operational roles in the commodities and logistics industries, working directly with manufacturers, wholesalers, and service businesses. I’ve facilitated domestic and international shipments, and developed tools for market analysis and risk management.

My career is built on a foundation of blue-collar work ethic and blending market insights with technology, in order to optimize business operations and protect margins. 

I’m passionate about the communities surrounding Lake Michigan, and I enjoy exploring various parts of our region. When I’m not working, I love hiking the dunes, biking in state parks, swimming in the lake, snowmobiling, and kayaking down our inland rivers.
